Early this month, Middle Tennessee was hit by a brutal set of tornados in the early hours of the morning on March 3rd, and with it there have been numerous stories of loss and destruction that have followed. The Elders of Millview have heard many of these stories and also the questions from the members on how can we as a congregation help.
The Collins Family
Matt, Macy, Hattie and Lainey Collins were at home when the tornado hit their Cookeville, TN home. Their oldest daughter, Hattie, did not survive the storm. You can read more about their story on Matt’s Facebook page here.
The Mynatt Family
The Mynatts were also at their home in Cookeville, TN and their daughter Harper is stillin the hospital. They also, like the Collins Family, lost their home.
The Kimberlin Family
The Kimberlin’s, Josh, Erin and Sawyer, all lost their life here on earth in the tornado in Cookeville, TN. Their story is one of sadness and grief but also joy in the remembrance of their love for the Lord. Sawyer, 2, loved the song Holy, Holy, Holy and on 3/8 at congregations around the country that very someway led and shared to social media using the hashtag #SawyersSong. Millview participated in this tribute as well. VIDEO
